Technical
Q: What software will I need to edit my MailGloo Template?
A: You will either be able to use the inline HTML editors that are provided with your email marketing system, ie Vertical Response provides a great HTML editor or you will need to use any WYSIWYG editor. For best results download and purchase Adobe Dreamweaver.
Q: What email marketing systems can I use my MailGloo Template with?
A: Our MailGloo Templates have been built specifically for use with Vertical Response, but they are compatible with most major email marketing service providers such MailChimp & Constant Contact to mention only a few. We have done as much as possible to try and ensure that your beautiful new MailGloo Template ticks as many boxes as possible when it comes to cross-platform compatibility.
Q: What if my MailGloo Template is not compatible with my email marketing software?
A: If you do have a compatibility issue with your particular email marketing software, just let us know and we will try and sort it out for you.
Billing
Q: How can I pay for my MailGloo Template?
A: At present we are using E-Junkie to accept payments through PayPal, so as long as you have an active PayPal account, you shouldn’t have any issues. We are planning to introduce other payment options in time, so please let us know if you have any issues paying and we will look into it asap.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Unfortunately not, BUT if you are unhappy with the performance of your MailGloo Template, we would be only too happy to help you get the best out of your template.
Support
Q: Do you offer telephone support?
A: Not at present. In order to keep our prices low for our customers, we are only offering email support at the moment.
Q: What if I need help getting my MailGloo Template working?
A: Just send us a support ticket and we will sort you out in no time.
Q: Do you offer custom design for mailers?
A: We sure do! MailGloo offers a full design and send service – we will design your mail campaign, convert to HTML once approved and send on your behalf, or you can simply take the HTML and send it off yourself if you prefer. Click here to learn more about MailGloo’s custom design and send service.
Design & Customisation:
Q: How do I edit background colours and images in your templates?
A: In order for background colours to show in both desktop email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Mail, apple Mail) and online email clients, we create an additonal 100% scaled table surrounding the entire design into which any colours and background image tiles are added. This means that when you are changing either Background images or colours you will need to edit both the <body> tag as well as the first <table> tag in order for your design to show in both types of email clients.
Outlook 2007 :
To get Backgound images to work you need to add the image reference to the <body> tag. eg: <body background=”yourimagename.jpg”>
Remember to also add the image reference to the 1st Table as well for online email clients to render correctly (as they effectively strip out the body tag)
Please note* – Some of our templates with rounded corners cannot have backgound colours changed, as part of the corner image is the same colour as the supplied backgound colour. Advanced users can simply recolour each of the corner gifs in photoshop to match their intended background. Please check each template for a list of editable / non editable elements.
